Just a quick reminder that the Scottish Cup Final is on this Sunday at Meikleriggs in Paisley. Please be aware that there is a 10k road race and fun run on in Paisley that day and some roads will be closed. Give yourself plenty of time to get there!!

Partick’s tremendous season continued apace at the weekend when they became the 2018 Premier Reserve League champions. Many congratulations for the remarkable effort to go through the season undefeated.

They had to wait a mammoth 51 years for this success but it was worth it. Congratulations to Ferguslie CC on winning the 2018 Premier Division. A tremendous team performance, and thoroughly well deserved!!

The second terrific final of the week resulted in a last over victory in the Greenwood Trophy for West of Scotland CC’s second string Partick. Unlike last week, the weather was kind and the crowd at Albert Park were treated to some excellent cricket. Congratulations to Partick.

Only eleven days to go to what should be a cracker of a cup final. Grange and Heriot’s meet at Meikleriggs, the home of Ferguslie CC, to battle it out to see who will be the 2018 cup winners. No ticket required, just turn up on the day.

Ayr CC and Ferguslie CC will now meet in the PlayerReg McCulloch Cup Final, a week tonight. Hopefully it will be a bright sunny evening with some good entertaining cricket on show.

Last night, Meikleriggs the Ferguslie CC second string won the Western Cup in a high-scoring and tense final against Victoria CC. The final, held at Titwood, provided plenty of quality cricket and excitement for the attending crowd.

Commiserations to Victoria CC and many congratulations to Meikleriggs.

Three out of three for the weather!! Last night’s Greenwood Trophy final didn’t get completed so they will have to do it again! The game is rescheduled for next Thursday, the 9th of August, at Albert Park with a start time of 6.15pm. Good luck to both teams.

Another rainy night and another final cancelled. The reserve date of next Wednesday, the 8th of August, is under discussion and will be confirmed shortly.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t play ball last night and the game didn’t go ahead. It has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, the 7th of August, at Titwood, with a slightly earlier start time of 6pm. Again, good luck to both teams.
