Another rainy night and another final cancelled. The reserve date of next Wednesday, the 8th of August, is under discussion and will be confirmed shortly.

A sound performance by the WDCU Select ensured victory against the touring Ulster Schools side by 66 runs. It was a high-scoring game played in fine weather on a good pitch at Hamilton Crescent. The game was played in good spirit with some top performances on the day:

Congratulations to Stirling County CC who won the Murgitroyd Rowan Cup final held at Shawholm last night. They overcame a plucky Cochran Dickie Kelburne side to win comfortably in the end. This is the first time Stirling County CC has won the Rowan Cup and on the evidence of last night’s game won’t be the last.
