The good weather and excellent cricket just keeps on coming!! Well done to Victoria, Weirs and West of Scotland for safely negotiating their quarter-final ties. Due to an issue with the pitch the Kilmarnock versus Poloc Panthers tie will now be played next Wednesday.

Can you help? Victoria CC has been informed by a late notice that they cannot get access to the Bellahouston pitch for both their fixtures this weekend. Sunday is sorted but Victoria would be keen that their game against Stenhousemuir 2nd X1 goes ahead at another venue if at all possible. Another great night of weather and cricket produced two tremendous cup ties. Congratulations to Cochran Dickie Kelburne and Stirling County on their victories. They will now meet in the final to be held  at Shawholm on Thursday the 12th of July. start time 6.15pm.

Greenock CC held their first 100-ball cricket games at sunny Glenpark on Sunday. With food and fun for all participants it was a great day and one that you may like to have a go at. You never know you might attract some new players to your club…..

It is with great sadness that I pass on the news of the recent passing of Johnny Hubbard. Described by all who knew him as a true gentleman and a sporting legend he will be sadly missed. All thoughts are with his family at this time.
